How to make anal sex less painful? My fiance keeps on suggesting to do anal sex, but it hurts. Is there any way to make it more pleasurable than painful? |
| Relax, take it slow and use lots of lube. The more you do it the less it will hurt. |
How to not make anal painful for women? i planning to do anal with a condom? how does it work for no pain and how she enjoys? |
This site says pretty much everything I want to: www.analsexyes.com/
However, I would suggest:
1: LUBE. LUBE LUBE AND MORE LUBE. Unlike the vagina, the rectum doesn't self-lubricate. There are special types of anal lube that are thicker than the usual stuff. This is both for comfort and safety as the tissue there is delicate and can tear easily if you're too rough.
2: Try it gradually. Is she used to being anally penetrated? Maybe try fingering her anus while she's masturbating to get her used to the feeling and loosen up a bit. Make sure she's expecting it.
3: GO SLOWLY. Just jamming it in there will make her feel like vomiting. Let her control the pace.
4: Find a position that works for y'all. Doggy-style is kind of a given, but I've found that from the side is most comfortable for me.
5: MORE LUBE!
And definitely use a condom. No matter how clean her rectum is, bacteria still live there and can cause urinary tract infections. Speaking for experience, they are one of the least comfortable conditions I've ever experienced. Enjoy! |
Really painful anal experience leaves me not wanting to try it again. But he really wants to try again? My husband and I have tried having anal only one time. and it just went horribly wrong. he was too excited and i was prepared. lol I want to try it again for him cause he really wants to make it something we do occasionally. are there any tricks to calming down so its not such a surprise? and which lubricants are the best to use? |
OK, so you noticed pain ? Painful intercourse generally has 3 origins: lack of lubrication, lack of preparation (relaxation of the muscles involved) and disease. Since you did not mention disease, I will move on to the other causes.
Lubrication of the rectum is different than of the vagina, since the rectum does not produce anything to help decrease friction. So with the rectum a fairly dry place, whatever you use for lubrication may need to be more, and/or slipperier than is used for vaginal sex. Experimenting with lubricants is a must, read the ingredients - you will see that there are only a few actual types. They are 1) Glycerin based. 2) Oil based. 3) Silicone based. I have not found glycerin-based products work well for me, although it seems that they are the most common. Oil-based is good, although it absorbs into the skin and may need re-application. Silicone-based is the slipperiest thing I have found.
Preparation of the rectum for intercourse is not that different from the vagina; both are sphincters - circular rings of muscles - which can be relaxed with a little time and practice. Inserting a lubricated finger slowly into the rectum first, then two fingers, taking time to relax, not rushing or even proceeding until you are comfortable(relaxed enough) to receive the penis (again-well lubricated) without pain or discomfort; may make your future experiences more enjoyable for both of you.
If you like to read, one of the most interesting sex books I've read is below. The author also has her own website, below.
I hope that these comments are helpful. Good luck !

Had constipation previously, will it make it less painful for anal sex? i have had constipation twice, im 16 and i know thats not good. but yeah its because i dont eat or drink very much. anyway i got to a state when it had to push itself out and it really hurt me. do you think after that it will make it less painful for me to have anal sex? |
| No. Start small and work your way to a larger object. Slowly stretching it is the best way. LOTS OF LUBE. |
A question for women! How painful is first time anal sex? My boyfriend and I would like to try anal sex for the first time. We've been together for 15 months so i'm very comfortable around him. I'm abit nervous (also very curious) about trying it though because I'd imagine it would be quite painful. Is this true? Whats women's opinions on it?
Thanks! |
the first time i did it, it didn't hurt... we used only spit as lube...he was sitting on the couch and i sat on him facing him..i was in control. i liked it a lot. if u let the guy be in control it can hurt because guys dont realize if they are doing it too fast..or if they are putting it in at a bad angle. bad angles hurt.
well...im way past amateur stuff. that first guy i had anal with i married :) ..and now i can have an orgasm from anal sex alone. iv gotten to where..a little pain doesn't bother me. its just rough kinky sex and i think its fun.
to insure a successful first time id like to suggest a few thing. some of these things are optional but can make it a lot funner and enjoyable. one basic thing: be sure u dont need to go #2. i personally hate enema and any anal rinsing devices..because i hate having water up my bum..its awful. instead all u need to do it use ur fingers a little in the shower to make sure u are clean. also u can try different lubes..some are just slippery and some are made just for anal sex. some numb u up and some help u relax. and u might want to try toys.. something small...or whatever u are comfortable with.
hope this helps! have fun :) |
Why is anal sex very painful the first time? Will lasted year at my partner birthday , we end up having sex. After that he turn me around and end up having anal sex. It was so painful that I told it hurt and he told me to wait because it was already in. Then we try again about 7 months later and still it was very painful. We try again only this time he told me let try , I was ok but slowly and he said ok. When he was going in i felt the pain. why is anal sex very painful? what can i do or eat to make it pain free. |
Anal sex should never hurt.
If it hurts it is because one or both of you are doing it wrong.
For the female what needs be done is basically relaxing and allowing penetration.
If you are nervous and tense your muscles will tighten up and it will be a forced stretch.
The males part of the equation is to first dilate the anus enough to make sure penetration can happen easy.
Fingers (or other objects) can be used to slowly excite and open up the anus.
He should go extremely slow and work just one finger in at first and then two.
Slow easy circular motions plus some pressure outside the anus on top (backside) usually does the trick for most women.
Make sure you use a lot of lubrication.
The lube should be made for the purpose... spit is not good enough for people not very used to anal sex.
Many people claim anal sex is painful the first few times and some claim it is always painful.
That is not true. They are people who have never done it correctly is all.
If it hurts... stop and take your time. Rushing does not work.
If rushing happens and pain is a result it may be best to wait a few days before attempting it again because the anus can tear very easy.
Once torn you are in for some stinging and pain if the act continues on. |
How do I make anal sex less painful? My boyfriend wants to have anal sex, which I'm fine with
I've done it a while back with another guy and I enjoyed it however, my boyfriend is much bigger than the other guy and whenever he and I try it always results in a lot of pain for me.
what can we do to make it less painful? |
Use a lot of silicone based lube. Never force it and I know this will sound funny but when he is about to put it in push out like you are trying to force out a bowel movement. It will help it to go in easier.
He should take it slow and if it tightens up or hurts when he is trying to put it in he should stop for a little and give the spinchter muscles a second to relax and try to put it in a little more.
You might try a different position other than on all fours like doggy. Instead you might try laying on your side or even on your back and him going in that way. They have some lube for pain, but I have heard that it is best not to use those in case something gets torn or punctured. It can happen pretty easy sometimes and you won't be able to feel it if you use the lube for pain till quite a while later and thats not good. So just take it slow and easy and lots of lube!
Hope that helps some! Have fun!!! (^_^) |
Why Is Anal Sex on a man so painful ? Why Is Anal Sex on a man so painful ? I've seen them groaning in pain like it absolutely hurts. |

Gay Guys: How can I make anal sex less painful? So me and my friend tried having sex but he could only get it in like an inch or two before I told him to stop. It hurt soo bad and we even used lube. We're planning on trying again with lubricated condoms and more lube, cause we only had a little this time. Besides lubricants is there any other techniques or even positions that are more comfortable? |
| You could try with a girl. It doesn't hurt and is cleaner |
